I'm back.
Hello Blog World!
I have not been a very good blogger in the last couple of months..but I have reasons. Lets catch up!
1. I graduated from Therapy School in July and spent an entire month studying for my boards. I am proud to say I am a Board Certified Radiation Therapist!
2. Joe went to Madrid, Spain for a week in July for a consulting trip for School.
3. We had a cousin's trip in Southern Indiana which included camping and renting a boat for the day. We had the time of our lives.
4. AJ, Jen, Joe and I went camping in Northern Indiana for a weekend. After a hilarious but unfortunate kayak trip we settled into our campground at night eating delicious sweet Indiana corn. Nothing beats that!
5. We went on a friends/family annual canoe trip. Operating a canoe with your husband with some rapids is a test of your relationship. Haha
6. Joe and I went to Chicago for 4th of July weekend to see Dave Matthews at Solider Field. The fireworks going over the City with the band playing was amazing.
7. Danielle, Heather and I went to Mazzstock (a concert our dear friends, Anthony and Vinny, as well as Lee Mazzola puts on annually.) It was great, got to see old friends and listen to some great music!
8. For two months Joe has been interviewing with a Hospital in New Jersey and we took two trips back East for the Interviews.
9. I am proud to say Joe is now the Director of the Cancer Center! So incredibly proud of him. We have spent that last 4 1/2 years chasing this dream and it is finally paying off for him.
10. We moved to NJ in September, are renting a cute bungalow cottage in Ocean City, NJ. We are near the bay and 6 blocks from the Ocean. My BFF Danielle has come down to spend a weekend with me so far and it's absolutely gorgeous here. We have explored Cape May and want to move there!
11. We went to Destin, FLA for a family trip last week and celebrated our 4 year Wedding Anniversary. Joe and I went to Acme (thanks to my brother and sister in law gift). Acme is our favorite restaurant in New Orleans and they have a sister restaurant in Destin so we were very excited about that. We chowed down on a dozen and half char grilled oysters. Joe also went to the ND vs FSU game with his Dad, Dan, and Jason while we were down there.
12. When we got back from our trip, we were in Philly and drove to South Philly and had cheesesteaks at Tony Lukes. Amazing.
13. It was my birthday and I am in my last year of my twenties. Although I have a sense of who I am, I have the urge to be creative or try something new. Maybe thats why I'm writing in the blog, I need an outlet
14. I am on the job hunt for a Therapy Job.
15. I am starting to cook more.
16. I am in the process of starting to become a long distance runner and maybe participate in a dualathon.
17. Joe and I went to the Notre Dame vs Michigan game in September. We watched the Navy jump out of a plane and land on the field. Governor Christy stood in front of us and we got to shake the players hands when they went onto the field.
18. Lisa and Dan are expecting and had a Gender Reveal Party..It's a BOY!

Life
Hey ya'll!
Hope everyone is doing well! It's been a very busy couple of months.
Since the middle of May, Joe, Linda and I went to New Orleans. Joe went to Madrid, Spain for a school trip. Joe and I went to Chicago to go see Dave Matthews. A.J., Jen, Joe and I went kayaking and camping up in Pokagan State Park and this weekend I am graduating and we are going on a family canoe trip! After the canoe trip, Joe and I are going to Somer's Point, NJ and my Mom is going to meet me there for lunch! So exciting! I graduate this Friday! I was asked to be the class commencement speaker so I will be giving a speech. I can't believe school is finally over. After today, the studying will get serious. I am set to take my boards August 4th so wish me luck! After that I plan on getting into running and biking again. I know it's been a very busy year but I really haven't put exercise as a priority. I am looking forward to that. Other than that, that's all that is really going on. Not sure what our next step is but Joe is doing well in school and I will be looking for work, wherever that will be.
Hope all is well with everyone. I will post pictures soon
