To benefit the St. Francis Food Pantry, Newburgh, NY. The Food Pantry serves the needs of hundreds of needy families in the City of Newburgh and surrounding areas, Friday and Saturday mornings of every week. All artist donations from this show will benefit this wonderful organization and the people it continually helps.
Alpha Male Gorillas presents listeners with an inflection of multiple styles, traversing through areas of rock, blues, hip hop and reggae, with elements of psychedelic. The band coined the term "HeaVy Mellow" in 2010 while recording their second album, "No Working Title" to put a name on the feeling being recorded. The band is making a lasting impact in the Hudson Valley, playing a steady circuit of bars, clubs, and festivals in the area who regularly show the Gorillas love and respect, and don't mind the noise. AMG has heart, soul, brain, and braun. AMG has consistently headlines the biggest small festival in New York, MAZZSTOCK since 2008. Like AMG, Big Lee Mazzola's mandatory annual all night jam session has grown and shown maturity each year, but thankfully not too much. Originals and original covers, played over a whole spectrum of style and emotion, through a rockin live show, all for our enjoyment. AMG will bug you out.
