Road Trippin it!

Have you ever seen the arch in St. Louis? It's very cool. Its set up right next to the water with a walk path/park. If you look close enough an elevator goes to the top of the arch. There are these small windows that you can look out onto the city.
We didn't go, we just drove by but it's one of those things you have to see. A part of architectural history. Check it out http://www.gatewayarch.com

The night before we stayed in Kansas City, MO at the casino Harrah's. Because Joe donates his time and money to these facilities, the casino hooked us up!! We had the top notch hotel suite. It was like a scene out of Pretty Woman. We had to have "Card Access" to the floor. The Suite had a living room, two bathrooms, one stand up shower, a jacuzzi, two flat screen tvs, king size bed. Yea we were living it up. See kids, it pays to give in to the cause.

We played a little blackjack, a little roulette, and a little more blackjack. We lost some money on blackjack, broke even at roulette (Always bet on Black) and than we pressed our luck at blackjack again and lost a good chunk. So we called it a night and just as we were about to leave, an idea struck and we went back to the blackjack table. Joe's idea was that because it was a new deck you have the best odds of winning on the first hand. Therefore we bet $48 because its a combination of our favorite numbers 21 and 27. I'm not sure if it was the wine or the environment but this man was a *genius because we put 48 dollars down and guess what?! We hit BlackJack~ Fate? or just good odds...an unanswerable question. Didn't matter. We won $72 and called it a night.
